I did a lot of searching and found most of the info that I need. I did an engine swap and used a standalone wiring harness. I am at the point where I need to hook up the heater before it gets cold. Here's what I figured out so far:
1. Orange wire at relay gets power from head unit on high
2. The resistors have power at lower speeds
3. The burnt out connection behind the passenger head is where the ground is.
4. I jumped the blower motor directly to the battery and it works.
5. The big red wire at the relay has NO power
I have read where the big red wire comes off the starter with a fusible link. I do not have this wiring anymore so I need to know what size fuse should I use. I can run a new power wire from my junction box.
I haven't had any responses so I went back to doing research. I traced the big red wire from the relay back to the #1 in the picture below. I dug out my box of old wire harness wires and found the wire that connected to it. I had a fusible line on the other end. I extended that wire and ran it to power and used the fusible link. It had the number 16 on it. I clipped the big black wire, #2 on the picture below, from the burnt out plug. I attached a thick wire to this and ran to the firewall. I now have low and high speeds on my blower motor.
On the corresponding burnt out plug, the green wire, #4 on the picture below, runs to the high pressure switch behind the compressor, then to the compressor clutch.
My question now is where does the green wire, #3 on the picture go? The corresponding burnt out plug only has the big black wire (#2) and the green wire (#4) . There is no green wire coming out of the plug in "C" location
Here are the two wires left after cutting off the burnt plug. The larger blue/green wire is goes to position D, the smaller goes to position C. What is the C green wire?
