Hi all. Does anyone no what size the center bolt (engine bay) is on the c100 connector? I've go the 2 off inside the cabin but tried all sockets in my garage... a search says its 1/4, but not on my car. (86 camaro) it appears to be between a 7mm and a 6mm but I can't find a 6.5 in any store around my house...

It's a 1/4"

 

¼" = 6.3mm

 

Well who would have thought there would be a big difference between these 2 1/4 sockets but the star one flat out would not work. Dug this other 1/4 the one on the left out of a bag of spare sockets I haven't touched in years and presto c100 is out lol thanks all. Good grief

 

The "star" one is 8-point. No way that will fit a hex.
