Little too close to a license plate frame with marquee lights for my tastes. Lighting up the bird seemed like a good idea until people started doing it. Somehow I've seen it done less than half a dozen times now and it's already played out.

I happen to like the effect and am planning to do it as well. Did you DIY? I’ve seen online a third-party vendor, but wanted to try it myself. I think I’m planning to tie it into the brake light to add to the “third brake light” effect.

I disagree with the others here and don’t feel it’s not classy. It’s a far cry from the underbody ground effect lighting from the 90s when these cars were commonplace (especially in Jersey)

I like it. However, I think it would look better staying with one light color like red or gold vs fluctuating colors.
