hello I've searched and couldn't find anything got a 91 firebird formula whats the trick to having the fogs light on while driving without having the pop-up headlights ?? Like this👇
The headlights should only come up with the gray half. It's possible to push the gray button to turn everything on, then catch the edge of the switch and turn them off without retracting the headlights. You might try changing the switch.
Well first off Formulas don't have fog lights.
I also had the issue of the headlights popping up when I would try to put the running lights on in my 92. I searched on here and the concensus was that the pucks in the motors had turned to dust. I emailed Lon at TDS and he said the same thing. I put new pucks in the motors and that problem went away. Sounds counter intuitive, but I would wager that is also your issue.
Rebuild the motors with new pucks or get new motors.

I took a headlight switch apart, there really isn't anything in there that can fail other than the contacts getting carboned up, but that wouldn't cause this issue.

I'm hoping it's the switch so bought new switch to try it out and see what happens 🤞
The culprit is one of the headlight motors. Had to deal with this a few times on cars of my buddies. It never was a headlight switch or headlight door module. It was always crumbled pucks in one of the motors.
