Starter/alternator wiring help needed

Need a little help so I don’t fry something. On the tail end of a rewire project (bought the car that way) and am connecting engine compartment stuff. Was about to
Connect starter, alternator and battery and need to verify a couple things. There are no fusable links by the starter or alternator... should there be? If so, what size and where should I put them? Also want to make sure I’m hooking things up correctly. On the starter basically it’s positive to battery and wire to the ingnition? On alternator I’m a little unclear. The positive from battery goes to post on back I assume but not sure about 3 other wires. Any input is appreciated! Also, Do I need to install a fuse/distribution block of some kind by battery? Almost done with the wiring

, can’t wait to get this thing running. Thanks in advance!
