Not charging after air pump removal

H all, Strange occurrence. I deleted my air pump with connections unplugged. Now my alt is only reading 12.5 volts. Didn’t touch anything else that I know of. Any ideas from the pros?

1989 formula 350. All original motor wise.

Put a voltmeter to the battery terminal on the alternator when the car is running.

At least that'll tell you whether its at the alternator or somewhere else.

Well not getting 14 at alternator. Worked perfect yesterday now no worky. I am thinking it would be some wiring that came loose, but all looks well. Guess I will have alt checked and go from there. Thanks for assist.
