Engine: All 5.0 LB9 TPI
Transmission: Auto
Rear hatch doesn’t open with switch

When I bought the car the guy said it was a ground that was making it not work but I haven’t been able to figure anything out I had the switch working for maybe a week then it stopped really can’t figure anything out any help would be greatly appreciated

Check the wires under the console switch. I have seen a broken wire in there just a few inches from the switch.

Also, check all your fuses

I had a ground on the switch go bad out back by the release mechanism. I repaired it, it worked for a bit, then stopped. Turns out the the area where the factory had it connected just wasn't grounding very well. I moved it onto a brand new area/hole, and sanded it down for a good contact and haven't had any issues since. ...but of course, check the switch, fuses, etc. etc.
