Relay help

I need help identifying this relay. It's on an 85 camaro closest to the drivers fender. I've seen several pictures but alot are different. Mice did a number on the wires and the harness especially for this particular relay. I just want to find out exactly what it is so I can fix it.

Re: Relay help

It's a "BARO" sensor. ( Barometric Pressure ) Kinda' acts like a MAP sensor but instead of measuring Manifold Air Pressure it measures outside (atmospheric) air pressure. Used in Carb cars and will set a code 32 if faulty.

Car: Yes
Engine: Usually
Transmission: Sometimes
Axle/Gears: Behind me somewhere
Re: Relay help

No, that one is in fact the MAP sensor. Even still has the vacuum line, at the left end, with the grey rubber boot.

The baro sensor is usually near the center, kinda to the right of and above the dist, on the lip of the windshield cowl; has a different color connector, kinda blue or aqua; and doesn't have a vac line. Looks essentially identical but isn't.

Re: Relay help

Wrong again; I stand corrected. Not the first time I've been wrong this week,... and probably not the last !

Re: Relay help

Thanks I really appreciate it. The two little wires going just off screen to the bottom are chewed off and the harness was all but gone so I'm trying to fix it to be usable. This ole girl was destined to rot in the dirt and I couldn't let that happen. I have an engine for it but I want to make sure my wiring is ready for the motor to go in.
