Dakota Digital Box
Hey everyone,
I dug around on here and found several posts about this subject but I wanted to throw out my situation specifically and see if anyone can confirm what i need to do.
Car is originally a T5 car that I swapped in a T56 out of a LT1 car. I have the Dakota Digital box for the speedo but I want to wire it in so I have not just the speedo but the cruise control also.
Anyone car to help me which wire on the stock buffer box needs to be where on the dakota digital box to get both the speedo and cruise working?
thanks!

Re: Dakota Digital Box
If you read the directions, it's pretty easy. There is a 4000 PPM and a 2000 PPM output. This has been covered several times here on the board.

Tuned performance,
Thanks for the pic. I've actually seen this one before. My question should i drop the stock buffer box completely? Or do I need it for the cruise control? If I take it out completely do what do I do with the cruise control wire?
scooter,
I am well aware that there are instructions (in fact i'm also aware that the instructions are not correct for my application), I am also aware that it has been covered several times on here (I put that in my original post). I could not find a thread on here about keeping cruise control. Feel free to share the link if its on here. thanks for the comment?

Re: Dakota Digital Box
Don’t need the buffer with a sgi-100bt or 5e just need to feed the cruise a 2k ppm signal

Re: Dakota Digital Box
So I just got some garage time and wired it up so the Grn/Blk wire (to gauge) and Red (Cruise) are getting the correct signal but the speedo still doesnt work.
I am no longer running the stock ECU, does that have anything to do with this? Any help would be appreciated.

Re: Dakota Digital Box
4K ppm dent to the speedometer? Not having a ecm isn’t a problem the ip gets a signal from Dakota Digital.
