What is this style/size connector at the fog lights harness?
Does anyone know the type and size of connector runs from the under hood harness to the fog lights (picture attached)? Some googling tells me it may be a 9005/9006 or H10 connector?
I’m installing aftermarket fog lights (the ones from Harbor Freights) and I need to buy the correct female part to splice to the new lights’ leads. Thanks!
Re: What is this style/size connector at the fog lights harness?
Do you want to know the part number for the connector in the image...
Or just the name of the connector?
The Connector is a standardized 880 Fog Light-Bulb connector (a 1992 Camaro also uses this connector for the washer-fluid pump).
It is in the Delphi Metri-Pack 280 sealed Connector series as a 2-Way Female Connector.
The ACDelco Pig-Tail is Part #PT331 or GM Part #13585617.
The Pig-Tail should cost about $30 or less... Don't pay more than that... Even Summit Racing carries this Pig-Tail for $30.
If you want to rebuild the connector and have the specific Delphi Crimping Tools; I can post all the Delphi Part Numbers for you.
The Delphi Connector parts/ components are a fraction of the price of a Pig-Tail.
Not a big deal for a $30 Pig-Tail... but when some of the Pig-Tails go for $60/ $80/ $100... building the connector is like a 90% discount on the Pig-Tail.
