i want to buy this but when i first got the car i didnt know anything lol so i cut the stockwires out and wired my own to a switch that i always burn out so i wired tehm directly to the fuse block now the wiring gets way hot so i need to know before i order if the switch will work or not thanks!!need to know asap

 

try using a bigger sized wire. That will help with the wire over heating.

you also need to make sure that the switch is rated to carry the amps that the fan will draw just like the wire.

The Jet fan switch is a much better idea that what you have going on there...
