Got a temp gauge that runs at max anytime the car is running and I’m trying to diagnose it. Don’t know any history on the car but there’s a lot of **** unplugged in the engine bay. This specific plug is floating on top of my intake close to my thermostat housing. Anybody know it’s home?

Could you post another Image, so we can see the wires that go into the Connector.

That 3-Way Weather-Pack Connector was used for several things...
Could be to the MAP Sensor...
Some of the Wiper-Motors used a Jumper Harness with that Connector.

I can snag one for ya tomorrow, not currently near the car just finally had time to post it.
The car runs fairly smoothly. Wipers work good as far as I can tell.

If somebody slapped a carb on a non carbed engine and just left any other electrical unplugged would it still run fine? Fairly new to carbed engines and sbc’s.
