Sounds like Code 12 which means no trouble codes detected. The system repeats itself three times so you have plenty of time to write down codes if present.

Is your check engine light on?

 

Yes I sat and figured it out your correct it is 12 and also when I sat with it running in park yes the check engine light is in a consistent flash but never dies out.? It's a 1987 chevy R10/C10 as well thanks.

Hey friend,just an update I cold started my c10 this tonight 1st time since I've worked some OT but there was no engine check flashing consistently no check engine on what so ever and let it run for 20mins so not sure what she's tryna tell me with the tick though...
