LO3 Alternator Upgrade

I searched around and saw where some folks recommended a Caprice 124A alternator for the LO3 TBI cars but the mounts are completely different on the ones I liked at.

Is there another higher amp alternator that is bolt in ready for these cars?

Re: LO3 Alternator Upgrade

I purchased this one when I had my '89 L03 4 years ago. Worked fine for the two years I had the car. It's a 140 amp but I noticed no charging difference. Honestly, it was overkill for me because I didn't have any extra load systems.
