Re: Wiring help please
Camaro headlight wiring runs in a backwards L shape from a big plug on the driver side firewall to the radiator support, then across.to the passenger lights.
I would assume firebird's are the same but can't speak to the headlight motors.

The Exterior Lighting for the Front of "1G2F Cars" (Fire-Birds)...
Goes from the C100 Bulk-Head and HeadLamp-Module Electrical Connectors on the Driver's side of the Fire-Wall.
(Right side of Image).
Down by the Vacuum Power Brake Booster and Master-Cylinder...
Down the Driver's side Frame-Rail with the Evaporative Emissions Lines...
To the Head Light, Parking Light/ Signal Light, and Fender mounted Side-Marker/ Signal Light (on the driver's Side).
(Right side of Image).
Then across the Radiator Support to the Head Light, Parking Light/ Signal Light, and Fender mounted Side-Marker/ Signal Light (on the Passenger's Side).
(Left side of Image).
