BraveTECH - Firebird LED Pop-Up Headlight Delete Kit (Bolt-On, Plug N Play)

Website: https://bravetech.ca/

Price: $537.00 USD for the pair. This may fluctuate over time.

Hi Everyone,

This is a product that I have been working on for a while.

Features:
- F
ully Bolt-On and Plug N Play.
- Industrial High Output LEDs.
- Low Beam,
- High Beam,
- Sequential (Or Non Sequential) Turns Signals.
- As the unit is recessed into very limited space in front of the factory headlight bezel, I needed to add a cooling system for the high output LED Display. There are cooling fans and air filters on each unit. The cooling fans are only active while the High Beams are on.

The YouTube video is of the original Version 1.0. Some features have been adjusted since the video was taken.

Please note that they take 1 - 1.5 weeks to fully assemble and test. There is currently a waiting list for them. Please feel free to email me to be added to the waiting list.

do you plan to make a version specific to the 82-84 firebirds? the early year firebirds have a different shape to the front of the headlight bucket. the outside edge is more square than the later year ones.
i'd be interested in a set if you can provide a housing for the early birds. i probably have a spare you can borrow to take measurements from.

Early design

Later design

Hi there,

Thank you very much for the information. I also was unaware that the older style had a more squared shape.

If there was sufficient interest in kits for the earlier model, I would consider designing a version for them. Unfortunately, it would be a rather significant time investment to design another version, as it would also require a new circuit board. I'm not sure what would be the best way to determine the interest.

I do really appreciate the offer the lend me the headlight bezel for measurements.

Re: BraveTECH - Firebird LED Pop-Up Headlight Delete Kit (Bolt-On, Plug N Play)

Looks like another nice product from BraveTECH.

Having been made with the curvature of the 85-92 bezel, it will probably fit inside the 82-84 squared bezel. But if it had been made to fit the earlier squared bezel, then it definitely wouldn't fit inside the newer bezel. The old, "round peg in a square hole vs a square peg in a round hole," thing. So, at least, it's likely work in all model years. It just won't be a perfect fit at the squared end of the 82-84 bezel.

And for people who are into a pop-up delete, which I, personally, am not, VFN offers a couple of full-length fiberglass hoods that are NOT cut out for the headlight doors. Seems like a good combination, so maybe one product will create interest in the other.
