Morimoto LF267 Led Headlights
Review of the Morimoto LF267 4x6 Led headlights. I absolutely love them. Its a literal night and day difference from stock, and the H4 conversion kits don't hold a candle to them either.
Pros: Plug in play. Only have to press out the unused 3rd pin from the headlight connector and the factory connector works fine.
Low beams (which are pictured on) are more than enough. Never even needed the high beams while driving 30 miles this morning to a show at 5:30am on the highway.
EDIT: Those are not the low beams, those are high beams. The connector pinout changed and I didn't double check. So all photos show high beams on.
Pinout as follows for the headlight units: Black (ground) Red (high beam) Blue (Low beam). For the low beam setup you will need to swap the red and blue terminals.
Fit right in factory housing and bezels, no modifications needed.
Cons: Price for some. Each headlight is $228 (purchased from Summit).
Super bright, must adjust headlights. Had a handful of people told me in the parking lot rolling in at 6am that the low beams are "blindingly bright".
All in all I am super happy with the $966 I spent.
And before anyone says anything, no the hood in the first 2 pictures isn't misaligned, its not latched as I closed it just for the photos.

I still bookmarked this thread regardless. The low beam visibility looks impressive.

Re: Morimoto LF267 Led Headlights
Congrats on a great set on lights!!!
I got the led light fever about 6 years ago, started really reading the different forums (alot of Jeep ones) and research. Headlight Revolution has a few good comparison videos among their library. The big names that make a difference and swap right in these cars, both Firebird and Camaro sizes, are JW Speaker, Trucklite and Morimoto. There are a few other outstanding brands but these are the big dogs. Light difference is amazing!!
Yours look top notch!

I have the Morimoto Hi/Lo beam on my GTA. Absolutely love them. Pricey, but worth every penny.

Re: Morimoto LF267 Led Headlights
Dumb question, can't I just install two of these things and leave the high beams in place?

Re: Morimoto LF267 Led Headlights
The problem with aftermarket LED/HID isn't that good ones aren't bright enough, but usually the housings have terrible cut-offs and blind everyone.
The lights should never emit full brightness above 0° horizontal. Thats what causes the glare.
So, unless some shop has tested and demonstrated the lights do have that clear cut-off, I'll never touch them.

Re: Morimoto LF267 Led Headlights
JW Speaker and Trucklite have amazing cutoffs. They were designed to be dot approved and are as good as oem led lights these days. The good thing is you can buy them at alot of truck centers and truck shops like Peterbilt, Internation, Kenworth, etc because alot of fleet and older truck owners are switching out to them. If you look around at alot of dump trucks, garbage trucks, etc and they have led headlights, chances are it's a Trucklite, JW Speaker, or brand almost as good.
I threw Trucklite 27450C lights in my car a few years ago now, amazing lights. They are way way easier to aim because the cutoff is so crisp and apparent. If I had any complaint about them it's actually that. There is zero flare over the cutoff, where halogen has more.

I don't have any pictures atm to share but the cuttoff on the Morimoto are great and the headlightsare DOT approved. You can find reviews of shops testing and comparing JW Speaker, Trucklite, and Morimoto headlights. All 3 have amazing cuttoffs.
A good review I watched was made by Headlight Revolution,

Re: Morimoto LF267 Led Headlights
I was writing to post this, when I saw you had done it, too. So here it is again, along with a little more info for other 3rdgens.
Lights look great, Blue_Thunder. 4 in a Camaro is expensive, and would be performance overkill, but has a much nicer appearance than just 2 would have, although just 2 would be provide excellent performance, as you also noted. Morimoto(LED projector), JW Speaker(LED projector), Trucklite(LED reflector), and Philips(LED reflector, similar to Trucklite) are the best and are all DOT approved.
For Camaros and 91-92 Firebirds, the Morimoto 4x6 demonstration begins at 13:31 in this 4x6 comparison video.
For 82-90 Firebirds, the Morimoto 5x7 demonstration begins at 10:45 in this 5x7 comparison video.
The low beams in these Morimoto headlights are not super intense, according to Chris in the video, but the high beams are incredibly intense. So if the low beams are blinding people, then perhaps they're aimed too high and need to be adjusted. All of the signs glowing in your picture, the light appears to be shining high up onto the trees, and you have eye-witness statements of being blinded when you drove in. Projectors, like reflectors, will be blinding if they're not adjusted properly.
It's also not unusual for the pins in the connectors of aftermarket headlights to be placed in incorrect positions during the manufacturing process, possibly activating the high beams when only the low beams should be on. Might be worth a check.
Now that you've gone all-out on the headlights, Blue_Thunder, and for all other Camaro-owners too, here's something new that will compliment your new all-LED headlights. I saw this a few days ago and was hoping TGO member, Stan, would post this himself, but I don't see that he has, so I hope he doesn't mind that I do it. The links to the creator of these are in the description. Looks like a nicely made product.

Re: Morimoto LF267 Led Headlights
Yeah, I'm still not done adjusting my headlights, needs to be turned further down. Car is down atm and not driveable. Also for the record my driving photo is going up a hill, not ideal for showing beam cutoff.
And as for parking lights, I ordered Screamingchicken.com switchback setup, along with their fog light kit. Unfortunately one of the Dynamic Diode bulbs was defective so waiting on a replacement before more pictures.
BIG EDIT:
For the sake of sanity I went and checked to be sure. And guess what you were absolutely right. The pinout changed, and in my rush to get the car to a show I didn't notice/realize the lights were the high beams. The 3 pin connector is black (ground) Red (high beam) and Blue (low beam). All the units were connected with the red (high beam) wire... I drove around with high beams on that are over 1700 lux each.... So yeah I'm gonna edit my review to add that in. And huge thanks for mentioning that.

Re: Morimoto LF267 Led Headlights
That was the case on my Mormoto lights. I had to repin the plug because the hi/lo was switched. Easy fix. Takes about less than a couple minutes to switch the pins out.
