Where is the parking brake light on the instrument cluster?
I am trying to confirm the location of the parking brake light on the instrument cluster. Mine has never worked so I don't know and have already spent some time looking for the answer to this simple question. I suspect is it on the right side of the cluster immediately to the left of the orange "security" light. There is just a red square there and it doesn't say anything like "brake". Is that the one? Also, I don't see anything labeled on the lower left side of my cluster so I am not sure if there are other sockets that should have bulbs. Is there a good source that displays what each of the sockets on the cluster is supposed to represent?

The location of the brake light is different depending on what car you have. Take a look at these pictures. When I bought my car, someone had replaced the cluster bezel with the wrong part. It took me a bit of head scratching and research to figure out it was wrong and find a replacement.
Anyway, the first pic is of the wrong bezel that was in my car. The second pic is of the correct part for my car. You can see that the brake light is not in the same spot on both parts.
Obviously everything i have said here applies only to Camaros. If you have a Firebird I can't help ya.
Either way, you should be able to shine a light into that area and see what your car's configuration consists of.
Here's the correct brake light position on my car:

Good pics. Thanks for sending. I have a Camaro and the second one would seem to match it. I did try shining a light through it earlier but couldn't see much except for the orange/yellow ones on the right side. I will just take off the bezel and confirm as you are doing in the pics. Thanks for the assistance here!
