So I bought one of those cheap keyless entry sets from Amazon to facilitate keyless unlocking, and the one I purchased had the option for trunk release. I wired the release signal to the trunk relay and I get nothing when I press the button. Looking back over the specs on the controller I see the trunk release signal is 300ma. Is this too low to trigger the relay? Do I need to send this signal somewhere else or get a converter to step up the voltage? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
