85 MAF burn off issues?
85 MAF burn off issues?
Still hunting down a weird problem that renders the car almost useless
runs great cold for about 10-15 minutes, then goes to ****
unplug the maf - and plug it back in- it comes right back to life for a short while
was blowing a gauge fuse, but i upped it by 5amp and that diesnt seem to happen any more but it just wint rev past 3k and puffs black smoke
i tried multiple MAF sensors, moved relays around- unplugged nearly everything that is powered by the gauge fuse (except the MAF burn off)
nothing
im waiting on a replacement MAF burn off, but i dont known how that could be the issue - im not sure i even know how that works
any ideas?

BUT!
My two ideas would be to stop starting different threads on the same problem, and to stop with the 15 amp fuse craziness, unless your somehow fond of wiring harness fires?
