Tachometer needle bounces after 3000 RPM

Transmission: 700R4
Axle/Gears: 9 bolt borg warner
Tachometer needle bounces after 3000 RPM

When revving the engine or accelerating once engine RPM hits 3,000 RPM tachometer needle starts bounching but engine runs smooth no misfires, any ideas?

Contact Cajun tach shop the thirdgen tachs are known to be inaccurate

I bought one Thursday evening, had it in mail today, installed tonight, my tach is back. I sure wish someone made boards for the speedo!

Does your car have an MSD box installed? If so, that's why. You can use their tach adapter to fix the issue.
