Transmission: 700R4
Axle/Gears: 3.77
What does this wire connect to?

1988 GTA this wire is on the passenger side. Anyone know what it goes to?

If it reaches over far enough, it looks like the wire that goes to the door switch, to turn the interior lights on when the door is opened.....

If that wire is for the door jam switch you could check for continuity on the white wire for the courtesy light you have hanging there

A good bet - wiring diags show door jamb wire as white, and the spade terminal is not insulated so it would logically connect to a ground (door open, switch closed, ground made for courtesy lights).
