New Alternator, different connector

Good Afternoon Everybody and thank you in advance.
I recently bought a new alternator because the old one just isnt keeping up. I have to jump start my car every time it sits for more than a day. The problem is the new alternator has a different connector than my old one does. And so far I haven't found any good information on the pins for either alternator or how to convert the existing harness / connector to fit the new alternator. The car is a 1984 Chevy Camaro Z28 and the alternator is a Speedway Motors 91023130, GM CS-130 style 220 Amp Alternator. I have some pics listed below for illustration. The first picture is of the new unit and the other two are the existing unit and wires in my car. If anybody knows anything about these alternators and the pins, I'd appreciate whatever help or knowledge you can give. Thanks Everybody!

Ok, , , where to begin.......

First off, what you describe isn't usually* an alternator problem, either your battery (even if new) is defective and not holding a charge, or, something is draining it while the engine is off
AKA (the so called "parasitic drain)

Now, if your really bent on changing the alternator anyway, your best bet would be to return the one with the wrong connector, and get the right one specifically for your car.

* The one alternator failure that CAN drain the battery when the engine is off is if it develops shorted Diodes, this results in the alternator being warm or hot when the rest of the engine is stone cold. When your engine is stone cold, is the alternator warm or hot? If not, and if it's putting out 14 ish volts while running, it's likely fine....

Re: New Alternator, different connector

The New Alternator uses the "Later" Design 3rd-Gen F-Body Electrical Connector.
Those cars had CS-130 Alternators Stock.
