Digital Dash Repair??
Any know of any shops that can repair the displays on my digital dash?? The speedometer is locked in KPH. And the systems check display is very dim almost unreadable. Thanks for the help.
Re: Digital Dash Repair??
Those things shouldn't require an electronic repair but should be fixable by a mechanic or DIY. The systems check display probably has a burned out bulb. They are replaceable but taking apart the instrument cluster is short of a pain. I'd also suspect the metric (E/M) button may not be working if it's not changing from kph/metric rather than the instrument cluster itself broken but I suppose that is possible, too.

There is a Swedish repair shop called "Grufman Bil", and they make videos for social media about their work. They just started an electronics repair shop, and they recently released a video of their homebrew solution to exactly this problem (mph/kmh button not working) for a customer. Might be an expensive alternative, but the solution exists.

I didn't know that was an issue with the metric circuit or that it was more complicated than thought. I've not had that issue on mine. Thanks for the clip.
Now if someone could actually repair or reproduce the LCDs themselves then that would be good. Not just talking about dim ones due to the backlight bulbs burned out, as that is fixable, but instead cracked broken display glass.
