Hi - I am not very familiar with searching on this site. Is someone able to point me the right direction for the general wiring diagrams for a 1989 TA and also the specific wiring diagram for the TTA engine?

Someone posted a few images with wiring wirings here, not too sure if it has what you need, but if you need to search for other info, just click the magnifying glass icon at the top of the page and type in a keyword i.e: MAF

I'd try to keep you search prompt short, if you get too specific the search engine has a hard time pulling up what you're looking for
