rattler 300 removal.
I just got a 87 iroc parts car. I noticed it had a rattler 300 installed under the dash. I plan to use the engine harness and dash harness in another Camaro. Is it possible to just remove the alarm system and return the wiring to factory design

Anything installed after the car left the dealer can be removed.
The difficulty will depend on how much of a hack job was done during the installation.
Not familiar with Rattler 300, but most security systems only interrupt the starter cranking circuit by installing a relay.

I think it is a decent install job. I don't have the key and the steering wheel is damaged to. I will take some pictures in the morning. I haven't unloaded it yet. Black box with a antenna like wire and sets of wires from harness under drivers side of dash.

I'm older than dirt. I do good posting on here! I also stay away from that type of stuff. Call me chicken if you want to. But really, thank you. I should be able to reverse what the installer did. If not. I will have my son download the link you provided
