wiper motor cover

i have an early 82 z28
wiper motor needed replacement
this car had the washer pump on the motor.
i cant get a used or new one so i went with a later model that has the washer pump on the washer bottle.
no problem we can get electrics sorted later.
problem is i bought a recon wiper pump and it turned up with no plastic cover on it,
the cover off the old one wont fit, is there any other covers i can use,, are all these wiper motors, chev cars from this era the same, can i get one off ebay that will fit.
the wiper motor i bought was apparently for the car i have and the number is Delco 4960754

getting sick of buying parts for this car i have had 24 years,,

Re: wiper motor cover

Post some photos and maybe we can identify what you ended up with. Easier for most of us than part #s for this sort of thing. You're right, there are other cars that used similar/same motors, it's not necessarily hopeless.

Re: wiper motor cover

I am in Australia and constantly getting smashed with freight coasts and parts that turn up not being what they advertised as.

a simple job turns into a problem.
