I need solution for my 1987 firebird pop up headlights

Hi everyone
I would like to know if i can make the pop up headlights open in half way ( I don’t want it to open in full way)
is there anyway to make this solution once for ever?

Look at the motor linkage and watch how it moves. You need to add a stop to hold it at the height you want.

Sounds like you should just fix the lights so you don’t have to manually open them (which is quite annoying).
