I have a really strange trunk motor problem. If I open the trunk, the motor stays down and doesn't come up, UNTIL I disconnect power from the motor or the vehicle, then when I reconnect power it pops up and will draw the trunk down no problem. Has anyone else dealt with this or what the issue could be? The car is an 86 Trans Am. I've already replaced the relay, and from what I was told, the motor assembly was replaced about 2 years ago right before I bought the car.
