A bit new to this but decent with wiring overall. I was in the process of stripping out the old interior to put new carpet in and found an absolute mess of stereo wires hand twisted and held together with green painters tape... I also discovered remnants of an aftermarket security system, this is where I think my problems lie. I removed all the garbage wiring and am 98% sure no factory wires were removed in the process but now the car wont start, turn over, nothing. I get interior lights and that is it. I realize this is a shot in the dark but any suggestions what should be tracked down first?

 

Sounds like a battery feed wire got interrupted. Big Red Wire. Check all those.
