Electronics Need help wiring something up? Thinking of adding an electrical component to your car? Need help troubleshooting that wiring glitch?

So how would you wire in a dakota dash

Car: 1992 Z28
Engine: 5.7 TPI
Transmission: 700R4
Axle/Gears: G80 3.23
So how would you wire in a dakota dash

The control box has to go somewhere. The wires have to hook up to something.
I assume I would just zip it up underneath the drivers dash somehow. And then run wiring to/from the ECM? Assuming everything that a cluster needs is also wired into the ECM. That would make it a lot easier.
A wiring diagram would be nice as well.

i put the control box behind, above or below the cluster in the dash where it fits best.

Just use all the wires from the factory gauges and move them over to the Dakota stuff. That's pretty much what I did when I wired up my Autometer gauge cluster

I put this project on hold, while i did some alternator and fuel pump stuff. But now i want to get back on it. If anyone has any pictures of their completed project, id love to see.
