body harness diagrams 91-92

I have a 91 or 92 z28 im trying in restore and needing body harness diagrams etc. I am wanting to cut out the VATS and Air bag modules from the harness.

There are plenty of Posts here on Bypassing the VAT System...

And regarding any SIR Circuits, First remove the SIR Fuse, then disconnect the Battery and wait 30 minutes for Discharge to occur.
From there, all Electrical Connectors in the vehicle that are a YELLOW color, can be disconnected.

I'm not trying to bypass it, im trying to remove them completely from the harness. car has never had the harness in it since before i bought it (partially restored status) looking for wiring diagrams so when cutting i can know where to jump the wires that went to the vats to make functional

These are for the SIR Airbag system.


This is for the Vats Pass Key system.

These are from the 1991 Camaro service manual.

The VAT System can not be removed from the Vehicle unless you swap to a Pre-VATS Power-Train Control Module and corresponding Wiring Harnesses.

If you are keeping your existing PCM and Wiring...
You can ONLY Bypass the VAT System.

There is also no point to CUTTING UP you existing Wiring to remove everything related to SIR.
Just disconnect it.
That way things can be returned to original if ever necessary... Most people regret hacking up their Wiring.

Take it from people who have built over a hundred of these cars.
