Need HELP getting my speedo working

Do anybody now how to get my new speedo work (from a 92)?
My car has a complete 350 TPI/TH700 from a -86 Corvette.
It had a VDO electronic speedo installed in the old cluster.
Does the Corvette ECM include the VSS buffer or would there be one somewhere on the car? The VDO had 2 new wires drawn to it. I thought that they would have been input and ground but
neither one off them was ground. The VDO has a total off 4 wires
one is ground and one I suppose is the illumination? Could it be that the VDO has an built in VSS buffer, so that one off those new wires would be from VSS and the other one going from the speedo to the ECM. Everything else works just fine in the cluster.
I would appreciate all the help I could get. Itīs just not fun to have a new gauges with metric inlays and then the speedo doesnīt work!
Is there any links or topics (I canīt seem to find one) on how to modify the MAF sensor?

OK. Iīve got the speedo working now. It was very simple in the end. The Corvetteīs speed sensor has only 2 wires going from it
( those where those 2 new wires) one to connect to the speedo input on the -92 cluster and the other one to ground( chassis).
So anybody who wantīs to upgrade from mechanical clusters(older) to electronic clusters( 90-92) donīt waste money on VSS buffers just get a speed sensor from a Corvette( mine was from -86 TH700R4).
Now it just leaves me with one problem ,CanI steel the signal from the speedo wire to connect to the ECMīs speed sensor input???
