I need help trouble shooting my fuel gage. I purchased everything from someone on this sight to convert over to TPI. After putting everything in, My fuel gage reads full all the time. I went through the troubleshooting guide in the service manual and all things point to a bad fuel sending unit. When I ground the pink wire running to the sending unit, the gage goes to empty. I have the tank out but would like to make absolutely sure that the sending unit is the culprit. Also, if it is, sould anyone have one for sale?

check to make sure you've got a good ground for the fuel guage sender, its under the back seat. the ground wire in question is either black or black with white stripe.
