battery problem

hey guys im storing my car for the winter and i was unable to start it for a couple months and the cold zapped the battery of its juice so when i found this out i took it out and put it on a charger and got it back to full put it in the car but when i hook it up there is something making a clicking sound sounds like it is coming from the front of the car by the headlight motor on the passengers side im guessing that my battery might be toast any body got any ideas on why this is happening and what is making the sound?

The clicking sound may be from the starter solenoid trying to engage & then disengaging (oscillating) when the voltage drops - this would be the result of a faulty battery or coroded or loose battery connections. Turn on the head lights while trying to start the car & if the lights dim, it's the battery or its connections.
