Hi everyone!

My car is a mess electrically. I have taken it to a mechanic before, and had them install a new coolant temp sensor, but even then they couldn't figure how to hook it up. My fan is wired to always be on, and im thinking it's causing me some odd problems. It's a real mess, and hard to figure out really, from all the time i and some friends have spent on it.

I see painless harnesses in summit all the time, about 300-350? I was wondering if anyone knew what would be charged to have a shop install it? I can't easily work on my car where i live (community rules) so I figure this would be my best option perhaps.

Any ideas? Ive got a big post going on in the TPI section with my problems so far, not about this specific one though.

for a shop to wire my dads entire car it was $350 including tax

 

painless harness is far from plug and play in a camaro. is good for a street rod, but in an f-body, you'd be best off staying with a factory gm engine harness.

 

I've got diagrams for 87 TPI if you think you'd like to try your hand at fixing the wiring yourself (kind of all year TPI in general really).
