I need the pinouts for the IP Connector (Instrument panel connector(s) C221 and C207) for an 89 Camaro with 305TBI. These are the two connectors, one square (6 pins), one rectangle (15 pins) by the ECM, not the two connectors behind the gauge cluster. I saw a previous post where T.B. posted pinouts for 85, 87, and 92 TPI cars, but I just need to confirm that the 89 TBI is the same or close. They didn't seem to include the IP Conn. information in the 86 and 88 diagrams that I have, but they're in the 92 diagrams.. strange.

There's wiring diagrams in the Tech Article section of Thirdgen.org for 86's and 87's. It may be the same.?

 

Maybe, or maybe not. That's what I'm trying to confirm. I already have 87 wiring diagrams. I need someone with 89 w/TBI diagrams just for those two connectors to verify that they're the same.

Awesome Omar! That's exactly what I wanted. Yes, it's definitely different from the 87 wiring. The 87 has the injector power wires on C221, and in 89 it looks like they were on C207 (through 92).
I just wish those diagrams were a little more explicit in the wires' purpose, but thanks anyway. You were a huge help.
