when I bought the car the speedometer was and since has been off, reads 40mph when im going 60mph and says 70mph when im going 100mph. now my speedometer stops working completely every once and a while, when my speedo is not working my car lopes at idle, idles very low and sometimes kills which leads me to think it is something electrical. When we bought the car we had the gear in the tranny checked, but it was the right one and we changed the vss. we have had the car to many different mechanics no one can figure out what it is. If you can solve this for me I would greatly appreciate it and would be very impressed.
