Gotta quick question on the 350. Ok for one, is it a 2 bolt main or 4 bolt main? also, what do u mean by all the accessories? do u mean a turnkey motor that you just drop in? thanks.

 

If is from a iroc will be a 2 bolt main.

And for all the accesories I mean... Alternator, a/c compressor, starter, wiring, etc etc but no computer and not turn key.

Kinda figured it was BS when the guy who lived local and wanted it didnt get a response. Judging by the grammar or lack there of, hes not from mexico but probably Africa or Ukraine or a eastern country. These guys do this crap for a living.

He is trying to sell me this trans now and asking for 300 up front....Bad deal? The price $800 does seem too good to be true and the low post count by him was a red flag.

WOW he took all you guys for a ride. Did you all use western union for the same tranny?? If so your SOL. This guy will never be found so emails and communications are useless in this type of incident. Hes from an eastern country I would bet on it.

Rest assured hes reading this laughing "stupid Americans" You guys should have contacted an admin by now and see what the ip he used is and then see if they can trace it back through the proxys he used. Its guaranteed hes using a proxy and guaranteed hes on other forums doing the same exact thing. Just what i would have done by now that way at least tgo admins could notify other forum admins of this guys scam ring. I have seen this so many times before and all of these guys type the same things Like "for some bucks." or "I would like to purchase for some bucks." The only way for them to get caught is for you to report them. Theres a federal site for it, just google it.

couldn't you get an admin to check some logs and find his IP and track it to his ISP and find out whereabouts he is?

The admin can contact their isp. I used to run a server and have had peoples internet service revoked before. Its all about the log files and what you say.
