Not for thirdgens. Lowest price I saw for a shock/strut set was $600. New from dealers the average price is above $200 for ONE strut. If I didn't just do shocks/struts/springs replacement I'd have given it some thought.

Pics would be helpful. Email is ergall81@hotmail.com. Also, were these ever raced, or have they been street driven only? I bought a set of Koni's from a guy that only had 5k on them, but he raced with them, and they were totally destroyed.

never raced about 10k miles on them.dont know what kind of koni's youre talking about but i beleive that bilstein claims their struts last 4 times that of factory srtuts.the struts are working fine the only reason im changing them is cause i went to coilovers cause the car is making much more power and i need it to hook.the paint has flaked off the housing of the strut but i remember most of that happening when i installed them and torqued down the bolts.will take and send pics

i'm interested as i need to get some asap but they look as if they've seen better days, more so then 10k miles. could have just been the pictures you took though. if you have a receipt for them so they can be warrantied this isn't an issue though. let me know if you have the receipt for warranty. thanks.

as soon i started tightening the bolts on the struts the paint chipped in that area.the rest of the chipping i guess came from a dirt/gravel road that we have to use to get to the place where we street race.i do have the receipt but dont know how long the factory warranty is for
