Trickflow valvecovers, PCV holes drilled.

Well the title says it all. They are silver cast AL. and have the PCV holes drilled in them already. Looking $50. Need the money.

Re: Trickflow valvecovers, PCV holes drilled.

They look EXACTLY like this. I am sorry that I don't have a REAL pic of them, but I don't have my digit with me, in fact I am at school right now.

But they only have about 50 miles on them.

They go for about $122 + shipping. NEW. I am looking to get only $50 + shipping. Shipping shouldn't be much either, they are light.

Obviously if you have a TPI motor or anything like that, these won't work. Perimieter style.

Thanks for the interest.

Re: Trickflow valvecovers, PCV holes drilled.

I'm wondering if the first guy still wants them or not... If I can get them, would you e-mail me a pic of the PCV holes? Did you do one for both of them? I want to make sure it doesn't look like crap...

Re: Trickflow valvecovers, PCV holes drilled.

luke4907, you are first in line.
cc 82Z-28, you are second, if luke doesn't want them. I dont have a digi with me right now, but I will get a pic soon. Shipping will most likly be around $10 I would guess. I can get better shipping esamates when you decide if you like them or not, after seeing them.

I have done 2 things to them since I got them. They were not designed too well off the bat, but I fixed them. The problem was that the holes to bolt them down were too close to the wall of the cover, so you couldn't get a bolt on. To fix this, I used a dremel tool and shaved metal off till I was able to get bolts to go in. Once they are on the motor, and bolted on, the bolt/nut cover most of the area where the metal was removed.

As for the holes, I just took a 1" drill bit, and driled through them. I did it slowly to make sure they didn't look like crap. Then I bought PCV vent fittings and added a little aluminum putty around the hole to make sure it would be air tight. The putty gets rock hard, great stuff. Anyways I found a pic. They have the PCV fittings in them, I have since took them out. I am just selling the covers bare.

I think that is all there is to say, check the pic and lemme know if you want them.

Re: Trickflow valvecovers, PCV holes drilled.

I will pass, looking for covers that have both holes to the front or no holes drilled yet, since that will work better for me since I use 2 breathers. Thanks any how..

looks to me like they would both be in the front if you turn around the back one to the proper orientation.

Yes, both holes are on the front. As as for wesilva, you can be next in line. I really need this $ soon to help me pay off a parking ticket, haha. So time is a factor. If we don't get to a conclution by tomorrow afternoon. I will move on and sell them to the person who can pay me the soonest. Thanks everyone.

Oh and please calc your own shipping. We all know how big they are, and they wigh maybe 5lbs. I live in MA, 02492. THanks.

Is there any type of polish or coating on them that you've removed by taking the dremel to them to get the bolts to go in? I don't want to deal with the coating peeling off as a result... If not then we have a deal. Looks like shipping should be $9.10 to my friend's shop right behind a UPS distribution center. Call it $60 through paypal? Let me know if there's any coating or anything that is gonna chip/crack/peel. Thanks

Re: Trickflow valvecovers, PCV holes drilled.

Well they are painted gray, and made of aluminum. I don't see any kind of coating. Just the gray paint. Thats all. A small amount of paint was removed by the dremel. There is no reason why it would chip, peal or crack. Paypal dennisbernalitaly@hotmail.com. $60 should do it. Thanks.

Re: Trickflow valvecovers, PCV holes drilled.

sounds good, if I have any problems I might just repaint it. I just sent you payment. I don't have any stock covers and my motor will be going together shortly so your urgency in shipping this to me will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
