Engine out of an 88 Trans Am GTA. 350 LS9 with the following modifications
Crane Computer cam with 1.6 Roller rockers
214 int@.050 lift 482 with 1.6 ratio
220 exh @.050 lift 488 with 1.6 ratio
1 5/8 SLP Headers
Ported Trick Flow Wedge Aluminum heads 202int/160exh
Cranking compression 219 psi
52mm throttle body/no coolant flows through throttle body
Ported intake manifold base that has been semi-siamesed down to there is only 3inches of the divider still in the intake before the head. Keeps engine from falling off after 5000 rpm
Modified mass air flow sensor with cooling fins and screens removed
no smog pump or EGR
TPI/LT1 injectors

This motor was built by my son in law who was an aircraft mechanic for 15 years and a car builder for longer than that. He was extremely particular and precise in his work. He passed in Feb. and my daughter needs to get rid of this and a bunch of other things.
No shipping and if the buyer was nice he could get a couple of computers and chips thrown in.
Bolt it in and have a rocket. Engine had 26,000 miles when removed from car. Modifications had about 2,000 miles
Asking $1750 Way less than the cost of the parts. We have the reciepts.

would you sell the engine minus the intake?

 

Because of the circumstances I'm not in a position to start parting the engine out.

 

I'm gong to sweeten the deal. I have several boxes of who knows what in my basement. They now go with the engine. They are all from the same 88GTA. come pick them all up.

 

I am in the process of building an engine but funds are tight right now... I was just looking for something that i could throw in the car to make it driveable that way it can be moved around while i am working on the rest of the car. Is the price solid at 1700 or will you come down from that
