T-56 and a 91z28 1LE, local only

Hey guys,
In about one month I will be separating my 1991 z28 1LE. I'm going to keep my motor and intake to put in a boat.

For sale, and test-drive I have

1991 Z28 1LE rolling chassis. Needs paint, stereo, misc items. Will not have a tranny, unless you want the tranny as well. Somebody replaced the 11" brakes before I got the car. 90k miles. Questions? Looking to get no less than $2000

Complete conversion kit with T-56 transmission. All parts have about 5000 miles on them. Driveshaft, petals will go with chassis. Tranny has a small noise ONLY in neutral (bearing?)

Spohn Torque Arm and Crossmember $400 new
Centerforce 2 dual friction clutch $600 new
New hydrolic clutch kit $125 new
T-56, bellhousing, flywheel, etc) $2500 new
aftermarket shifter (b&m?) $150
Flywheel

Total $3625

Asking $2000 for the complete kit

Will sell both the car and tranny, with no engine or intake for $3500. Please no shipping, local pickup only.

When you say replaced do you mean with new 1LE brake parts. Does it still have the factory rearend. I am going to need pics of the car,vin and RPO's. We are lookin for another 1LE and this might be the ticket. What are the colors of this car? Factory wheels...aluminum driveshaft? Lets talk

Price negotiable. I'm willing to ship, but would ask for a deposit, then time to disassemble, build a crate and haul to the shipper.

Re: T-56 and a 91z28 1LE, local only

Yes I received the email. If the car was in a(n) accident bad enough to need the spindles and 1LE brakes to be replaced with cast iron stockers does it still command 4 times what a roller goes for? I own a hauler and am willing to travel but need reasurance this is a real deal. In order for me to reinstall what the car came with it is going to cost about 1100 for the front brakes alone. You also want to keep the engine for a boat...is it the # matching block and heads? If I see pics of the hidden vin#'s and a pic of the rpo sticker that is legible I will buy. I don't want to sound like a sceptic but if I take a week off work and spend 800 on gas it better be real. I work on and race 1 of the 6 Z03 1LE's everyday. I would hate to lose time off and pay if I get there and it's a scab. Waiting for up close pics...you say the word I will be there with hauler in tow.

Ask anyone on here they will tell you I am serious.

Vertigo, I'll take some pictures and post them within a few weeks. I might try and keep it local just because I would feel horrible if you discovered something that wansn't what you were expecting.

What do you mean my hidden VIN?

BenDoe91z28 : BAD SELLER !!

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

From the Parts Board on this site. I purchased 2 1le hubs with 10 wheel studs from this guy. I got the hubs, but the studs he sent aren't wheel studs they're threaded on both ends (m10-1.25 x 37).He admitted his mistake on 10-30 and told me he would look for the correct studs. But of course I haven't heard from him since !!! And he doesn't return PM's or Email. . I contacted Paypal, but since it wasn't purchased on ebay: they will only watch his account . : BAD SELLER

O! I didn't realize they were threaded on both sides. That means we still have the 1LE studs around here. I will look for them today.

Ok, but I don't think these are wheel studs. I have never seen a wheel stud thats threaded on both ends. No, we do not have Baxters' : Summit, Jegs, Murrays,Autozone,Advance,Napa,Federated, Pep Boys are all close.

I'm going to have to check with my buddy who I made these with. We bought standard studs and 1LE studs. I might have sent the wrong set. Do you have any Baxsters' Auto Parts where you are?

Camera is broken, sorry. Front of box "Rockford metric stud M10-1.25x37 10 pcs. x2813-682". They are not knurled (larger flared end) so they cannot be pressed into the holes in the hubs. They fall thru the holes. They are a total lenght of appx 1.5". I believe the orig, studs are 12mm x1.5 with a .484 knurl appx 2.5" long

What is the part number on the front of the box? Do you have a camera to send a picture of how they fit?

Hi Ben , Received the hubs today; they look good. However the studs you sent do not fit. they are way too small and aren't even wheel studs . Henry

I am interested in the t56 kit. Could you get me a shipping quote to 22015. Its a
long way but I really need a transmission. It still works good right. Just the noise in neutral? Let me know about shipping.

90IROC305,

Fedex Freight came in around $350. The ONLY issue with the tranny is neutral gear. I also have the VSS speed adapter to go with the set.

If your interested, I'll email you my phone number and we can chat.

forwardair.com will cost less than half that freight charge, and they are fast.
