It's a custom grind hydraulic roller cam from delta cams 203 duration 450 lift both intake and exhaust. The cam was pulled from my 89 rs, and it only has 8500 miles on it. I also will include the lifter guide plates and locking girdle. I am asking $150 shipped, and I payed almost $400 for the cam and lifter kit. I will have pics soon.

How well did it work with the stock prom? Might be interested if it works good without any prom work. Thanks.
That's actually about as big as you can go without any prom tuning. I ran it with the stock prom and it ran great.
Here are a couple of pics

I also found a timing chain, cam and crank sprocket that I had, so that will go as well.

still have it? if so what kinda hp numbers you talkin?
yes it's still available. I never was able to get the car to a dyno so i'm not sure on actual hp increase. The lift on the stock cam is only 234 intake 257 exhaust, so it's a substantial difference between the two. With this cam and a good tune i'm sure 30-40 hp will be easy to obtain.

sorry but stock LO3 cam lift is .3xx .3xx recheck your numbers in the tech article.
Yeah they could be wrong, but I got the specs straight out of my chiltons manual.
Still for sale

your car sounded mean with that cam, very nice.
Thanks. I have to get some new vids up, now with the new cam in the car sounds so much better.

Not much into motors but I thought I'd ask will it work on and lb9
I'm pretty sure it will, to my knowledge an lb9 block is a roller block.

I'm going to do some checking, why are you getting rid of it?
Well cs the car is no longer tbi it's carbureted, and I put a set of dart heads and a magnum 280h cam in it

It's cool Kronos I literally just paid for an LT1 cam. I'm kind of glad I didn't double bid myself on this. Good luck on the sale, I'm sure someone will take you up on this.

Actually his car sounded just like a John Deere tractor, sorry man, but it did, maybe if you would have keft the exhaust hooked up it would have sounded MUCH MUCH better.Originally Posted by vipershark11

come on man, this isnt really the place to critisize someone's product they're trying to sell. Between your post to this and to smallblockling, you're being a **** to put it politely.Originally Posted by F_N_JUNK

If you actually READ my post, you would see that I was not saying anything bad about the part he has for sale and I actually just made an observation to it sounding like the JD I got in the shop, and that it would sound better if he didnt have the exhaust cut-out at the Y-pipe like it says, thats all, I honestly could not even hear a cam in the video.Originally Posted by jbpnumber03

Could I run this with stock heads?
Yes, it will run with stock heads. When I had it in the car I had stock heads.

sounds even better, what cam do you have in it now? and what muffler on it?
Comp Cams 280h 10 230/480, and a flowmaster 40 series. I need some gears now to help out with the cam.

man if there would be a good power gain i would love to get this but... the thing that kind of turns me away from it is the video. you dont have a video with an actual exhaust on it and that cam. that is a video with no exhaust right. it just sounds like there is no up and down idle sounds to it its just steady.
^ That really shouldn't deter anybody. Frankly, I'm very shocked that this cam setup didn't go for $150.00 already. Had I still had an LO3, it would have been bought the same day it was listed....

well im the kind of guy that likes to have power but also wants my car to sound awsome. i like going through a tunnel with the windows down and hearing the deep rumble of my exhaust now. im not saying that that cam didnt sound good, im just saying that the exhaust covered up the sound of the cam because it was out of the Y. ive been looking everywhere for a video of a v8 with that same grind cam but cant find any. that and i really dont know if it will be much of an improvment for my 305 TPI or not.Originally Posted by Street Lethal

I would never recommend a camshaft for anyone without delving into DCR/SCR first. But as far as the sound in the video, that shouldn't deter your decision, because his exhaust is off, and should sound like that....

thats why i was asking if he had any videos with the exhaust on because i have the same set up as he does.Originally Posted by Street Lethal

No I don't have any other vids with the exhaust on with that cam, but you're not going to get a choppy idle with anything under 214 in duration.
