F.S. LS1 Alum Driveshaft (photos)

out of a 36k 2000 SS Camaro. New rear u-joint, shaft in very good used shape, not perfect but good.
135.00 shipped in CONUS postal MO only.

Does this even fit in a stock 3rd gen?

My iroc had its aluminum shaft replaced at some point with a steel one, and id like to put an aluminum one back in.

fits all later 3rds 87 up with 700R4 or T5

Will fit all years with T-5 or 700R (though the rear U joint may need replacement on pre-88 cars--at least that was the situation on my 85). By the way, LMSkyliner, an 85 IROC wouldn't have been originally equipped with an alum drive shaft. IIRC, the JG1 didn't make an appearance until 1988.

its not out of balance, I say not perfect because its a used part and has 36k. Some may expect perfection from a used part so I like to be clear.

If you check on ebay you'll find this is a really good shipped price deal.

But an 85 may not mate correctly to the pinion yoke unless the rear U is changed (the part # is provided in the following link). I'd test fit first:
