Plenum polishing
I was thinking about polishing plenum tops if anyone is interested. It doesn't take me long (1 day turnaround)and they are like a mirror when I am finished. If anyone is interested let me know. I was thinking $50 and that is with return shipping included to the 48 states via USPS priority. I have some extra time between projects.

Re: Plenum polishing
I can do runners but I really don't like to do them they are alot harder to get a decent shine on the flanges. I also have the stuff to knock out the dents from stock runners. here is a couple pics of some of the past work I have done. The TPI setup I didn't get to completely polish because I had a cummings crankshaft drop on my finger but what I did finish turned out pretty decent. The manifold I shot blasted that is why it has that texture. They are way too time consuming but I guess everything has it's price.

Re: Plenum polishing
here's a couple more. you can see where I didn't get to completely finish it in between the runners and I really can't get the throttle body all that great because I have no idea where to get the stuff to pull the throttle shafts but if I can get that stuff I can get those too. otherwise my advice would be to just buy the polished version Summit or Holley t/b.

Re: Plenum polishing
I can do port and polish on the plenum for $100 with shipping back to ya. just need the plenum and the gaskets you plan to use. I am not really sure I want to do the whole setup if I did not sure what I would charge. pm me and we can talk a little more about it and I would need to see pics of what you got to see what kind of prep work needs to be done first.

Re: Plenum polishing
after thinking about this for awhile I have decided I will do the whole setups. To port the entire thing which would be the plenum (throttle body opening and runner openings) and the manifold. I will do it for $150 as far as polishing I am not really sure what to charge it is alot of work to get them to look good so I was thinking $450 minus the throttle body (as I said I don't have the stuff needed to take the throttle shaft apart and put it back in). If anyone knows how to do it and where to get the stuff needed to do it I will get it and do those too. I also have the stuff to knock the dents out but I got it and never really got to use them because I got the stuff in the mail the day I broke my finger. So I have a set here I am going to practice on for a little bit first but I will be able to take all the dents out and enlarge them a little so it will be a gain in airflow. The little bit I did with them it seems easy enough so I would do them for around $55 or so. anyway let me know what you guys think price decent enough or too high.

Re: Plenum polishing
do the runners need straighten or just polished or what all needs done (are they painted too) I would have no problem doing the v6 stuff just cost a little more which actually if you just want the top done I would probably do it for the same price. I don't mind giving you guys a good price on the stuff now but it would more than likely go up in the future if I decide to really get back into doing it. It has been a while since I did alot of stuff and just trying to get all the little cubby holes are more of a pita now than they were before for some reason, lol it is really time consuming too. If you want a good job it does at least. If anyone has anything else they want done just ask me. anything can be polished as long as I can get into it. I need to buy a tumbler for the smaller stuff but not enough cash to do it now, maybe in the future.

Re: Plenum polishing
No the runners are somewhat polished... I used steel wool as best as i could. Go to my profile, then go to my cardomain, and go to the last page, it shows my tpi setup i have been working on so you can see what you have to work with

Re: Plenum polishing
that doesn't look bad. I will do the plenum for $60 shipped back to you and the runners I really couldn't tell did you get all the casting off the flanges already? If so $35, if not $50 also did you want the plenum gasket matched? If you want the plenum ported out then it goes to $110 but if you decide you want aftermarket runners or a 58mm throttle body then you won't have to do anything other than swap them out. just let me know exactly what you want done and I can give you an exact price. also do you want to leave the blue in between the cooling fins. It looks good in my opinion anyway.

Re: Plenum polishing
The blue in the fins can stay, Im going to paint over it anyways... The runners still have casting on them. I didnt sand or anything, just used steel wool as best as i could... Could you port the plenum for me also?

Re: Plenum polishing
yeah I could do it. $160 and shipping so $175 all together. let me know if it sounds fair. you can pm me or post whichever.
----------
also to gasket match I need the gaskets you are going to use. they will still be good to use then I'm done or if you have an old set I can use those too.

Re: Plenum polishing
do you want just the top or the entire thing done? $50 for the top and shipping or $125 for the whole thing plus shipping.
