I found in my garage a pair of both driver & passenger side front AC Delco Ball Joints that I was going to use for my 87 GTA. Well I sold my GTA and I still have these in the garage that needs to go. These are BRAND NEW from the Pontiac dealer. GM#88911525. I paid ~$60 for the pair. Shoot me an offer for these. Any reasonable offer I will accept.

hey im not too familiar with this type of stuff. i recently took my car in for an alignment but they said that could not do it bc my front lower ball joints were so worn. funny, bc i live in PA and i passes inspection there. i had to have my idler arm replaced but my mechanic said nothing about the ball joints.

my car is a 1991 firebird, 3.1L. are these 87 GTA specific or will these work for pretty for other years and models as well. sorry if i waste your time!? thank you in advance

 

That's a common scheme shops run. They say they can't do an alignment until they are replaced and then offer to replace them and occasionally offer you a "good deal" to do the ball joints at the same time. Its a scam.

 

^^yeah i pulled the car out and getting a second opinion on it just for that reaon
