up for sale is my motor that came out of my 91 camaro project. i bought the motor from another TGO member who had it built. It's a 385ci sbc with 10K miles. this motor is a beast, easily 400-450hp(never dynoed). here's what is consists of:

Holley 780 carb,
Weiand intake
Old style 350 block(non rolloer cam) bored .040 over
Speed pro forged flattop pistons, moly rings
Eagle forged rods
Eagle forged crank
clevite bearings
Rebuilt Corvette "113" heads(non ported)
it has a campcam in it, 226@.50 w/ about 500 lift. (nice torquey cam)


the motor is still in the car so you can hear it run, check oil pressure,etc. doesnt leak any oil.

im located in SE PA, elverson to be exact. not trying to ship unless buyer coordinates everything...asking $2500 obo.

A 350 block bored 0.040" doesn't make a 385 ci... it makes a 357 ci....

 

my bad well when i bought it thats what i was told.

 

measure the stroke
If its a 3.75 stroke and 40 over it is a 385.

Do you have a Eagle part # for the crank. That will tell ya also.

My apologies.... never thought about a 385 stroker... yes indeed a damn good price if it's a stroked 357 ci for sure!

It has a whole forged bottem end. Someone rebuilt it and probally spent the extra cash(virtually nothing) to make it a 383 stroker. When you redo the whole bottem end its pennies on the dollar to go ahead and have it stroked out.

For sure a great deal if its a stroker motor.

well im going to college in the fall so i want to sell the motor and just park the car until after college when i have some money. its just too expensive right now with everything else thats got to be paid first.
