01 Z28 4thgen Plastic Gas Tank (w/sending unit)

Complete plastic gas/fuel tank from an 01 Z28. 63k on it. Includes the sending unit(fuel pump, float, housing, etc) I dont have the fuel neck for it so you will have to find one somewhere else. $150 plus S/H.

It will physically bolt in with no problems, you will have to pick up a fuel neck for it. The LS1 pump will work great in the Lt1.

is it possible to put the neck from the stock tank on the plastic tank or maybe put a 4th gen neck on it from a v6 or sumthin?

You can modify the necks from the Ls1 cars to work with little effort. I'm not sure about using your stock neck. I had wondered that too, just cut off the stock neck and couple it to the tank with a section of rubber hose. It may be worth a shot.

I honestly dont know why RCI or someone cant make a fuel cell to bolt in shaped like a stock tank with a sump already installed.... I know there are a few out there, but I'm not dropping $3K on a tank.

anyways... bump for ya.

FedEx is $165.00
USPS is $124.00 Parcel post but they may not ship it due to it being a gas tank. It is comepletely empty and has aired out for several months so I'm not sure on this. I know FedEx will ship cause thats how I recieved it.

TTT I can ship this in the Continental US for under $50 depending on your location. In most cases it would be less.

Refresh my memory. How does the EVAP system work on those cars? Its all handled at the tank. Correct? Does it need any input from the ECM to work correctly?
