I have a LT1 Auburn diff take out and a factory set of 3.42 gears. The diff worked great while it was in the car. I switched to a Zexel while replacing the GM 3.42 gears with a set of GM 3.23s. The ABS ring is slightly damaged on the carrier, if you do not run ABS this will not effect you.

I never did notice the rear not spin both tires when at the strip, or on the street, always 2 black marks starting/ending at the same time.
